Komodo excursion overview

This tour package is recommended for honeymooners who want to enjoy the honeymoon season in adventurous places. The couple will not only discover the wonder of Labuhan Bajo, the capital town of West Manggarai District – west Flores, but also will explore the anthropophagus reptiles Varanus Komodoensis which is known as Komodo dragon lizards in the heterogenous forest of Komodo island. To perpetuate a sweet life time memory, we go trekking on a beautiful hill very popular as “BUKIT CINTA” or LOVE HILL, an amazing spot on Padar island to take pre-wedding pictures or honeymoon photos.

Komodo excursion itinerary :

Day 1 : Airport – Puncak Waringin – Bukit Sylvia – Hotel ( Lunch, Dinner)

Your Komodo excursion starts at Komodo International Airport, Labuan Bajo. The guide greets you at the arrival hall then drives down to the local restaurant for lunch. After having lunch we set out on a pleasant trip to Puncak Waringin and Bukit Sylvia. Both are hills from where you may see a breathtaking sea view and Labuan Bajo strait while waiting for an amazing sunset. It will be the best moment to take a picture with family and colleagues. After being satisfied we return to the hotel to stay overnight. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 2 : Hotel – Padar – Komodo – Pink beach – Taka Makassar – Kanawa – Hotel (B, L, D)

We leave the hotel at 06.00 in the morning. Please bring along your breakfast box from the hotel. We embark a speed boat for Komodo excursion then sail to Padar island which takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Hiking to the top of padar hill is an attraction that western and domestic visitors like very much. In addition, you can also enjoy the bay view which looks like a beautiful lake. Furthermore, we go back to the boat to continue our prodigious Komodo excursion to Komodo island.

We anchor the boat at Loh Liang pier. We hike on the island to discover Komodo dragon lizards and other animals like wild deers, wild pigs, and various kinds of birds. After having a lunch box on the island we proceed by boat sailing to Pink beach. The main marine activities are swimming, snorkeling, and underwater photography. Another fantastic spot for marine life is Taka Makassar, a sandy island in the middle of the sea. If we are lucky we could watch Manta Ray from our boat. The last swimming and snorkeling spot we will explore before riding the boat back to Labuan Bajo harbor is Kanawa island. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day 3 : Departure – Labuhan Bajo. (Breakfast)

Enjoy your breakfast at a hotel. Prepare for airport transfer to onward the flight to the next destination. If we still have time we will visit a souvenir shop in Labuan Bajo to buy or just have a look at traditional hand woven sarong and other Flores local community products.
