D1 : Arrival – Batu Cermin – Labuhan Bajo (L,D)
Meeting service at Komodo airport – Labuhan Bajo, west Flores then drive down to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterwards start a sightseeing tour with a visit to Batu Cermin – mirror stone cave. On the way to the hotel we will serve you dinner at Kampung Ujung Culinary village.
D2 : Labuhan Bajo – Komodo – Padar Island (B,L,D)
After having early breakfast we drive down to the harbor to embark an air conditioned boat for Komodo Flores tour exploration. We sail firstly to Komodo Island. As soon as we reach the island we set out on a medium level jungle trek to explore Komodo dragon lizards. During the exploration we will pass a waterhole from which Timor deer and other wild animals get drink.
We finish the exploration after climbing sulfur and frigate hill to enjoy a wonderful scenery across the Island, bay and beach. Afterwards we go back to the boat to proceed the trip to pink beach for snorkeling or just swimming. Our chef cook prepares your lunch on board. In the afternoon we continue sailing to Padar Island which is famed as the third biggest island among Komodo National Park. It is located between Komodo and Rinca Island. The island is a beautiful place to watch sunrise and sunset. Enjoy your night and dinner on board.
D3 : Padar – Rinca – Kelor – Labuhan Bajo – Ruteng (B,L,D)
Breakfast is served on board. Early morning set out on a wonderful trekking to the top of Padar hill from where we can see the beautiful panorama of sea and inland of the Island. Afterwards, we get on the boat to continue the Komodo Flores tour expedition to Rinca Island. In addition, we will also have an other trek to Waewaso. On the trail you will not only see Komodo dragons but also other wild animals such as Timor deer, wild buffalo and long-tailed macaque. Enjoy your lunch on board.
Furthermore, we get on the boat to experience the last day boat sailing to Labuan Bajo harbor to set out on Komodo Flores tour overland. The journey to eastward of the Flores island to reach Ruteng, a town situated in the hinterland of the Island at the altitude of 1.070 – 1.150 m above sea level. The trip is very fantastic since we pass through many villages, rice field, valleys and refines. During the trip we will stop to take a picture at Cara village and Cancar spider form rice field. We will arrive at Ruteng late afternoon. enjoy your dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Ruteng – Bajawa (B/L/D)
After having breakfast at hotel, we take a journey to Bajawa town which is situated on the highland of Flores Island. The beauty of nature from foggy forest to soaring volcano and valleys make your Komodo Flores tour overland more fantastic. In addition, you will discover the wonder of Ranamese crater lake and Mano rice terrace field. We will serve you lunch en route. Afterwards we go to Naru village to watch the tallest stone monuments in Bajawa with soaring Ebulobo volcano on the vicinity. We will prepare your dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Bajawa – Ende – Moni (B/L/D)
Take an early breakfast at hotel, then we visit Bena, the nicest traditional village in Flores Island. Then continue driving on our adventure journey to Boawae, the village belongs to Nage ethnic where a huge “Peo” situated. Peo is wooden pole with forked end stand in the middle of the village. After that we visit Penggajawa beach where local people collect blue pebbles for sale. Late lunch will be provided in Ende. In the afternoon we proceed our Komodo Flores tour overland to Moni. Stay overnight and dinner at hotel.
Day 6: Moni – Kelimutu – Maumere (B/L/D)
At about 4.00 o’clock in the morning we leave the hotel for the foot hill of mount Kelimutu, the starting point to climb the peak of the mountain. We will discover the wonder of the three colors lake. Afterwards, we continue driving to Woligae traditional villages to witness and to understand the Lio ethnic’s daily life and their civilization. Several typical Lio Houses are decorated with breast figure as the symbol of the fertility and prosperity. Lio people are also very famed with Ikat weaving – the tie-dyeing weaving technique. Lunch will be served en route. In the afternoon we drive down to Maumere for accommodation and dinner.
Day 7: Maumere – Next Destination (B)
Enjoy your breakfast and rest of your holiday time at hotel while waiting for airport transfer to onward the trip to next destination. End of Komodo Flores tour overland.
