Climbing Rinjani Mountain highlights

Climb up Segara Anak lake and the top of Rinjani mountain. The climbing Rinjani mountain starts from Sembalun village at the height of 1.156 meters above sea level through the edge of Sembalun crater. You may swim in the hot spring water before reaching Segara Anak crater lake. Your Climbing Rinjani mountain program ends at Torean village.

Climbing Rinjani mountain itinerary :

Day 1 : Arrival – Senaru (Lunch, Dinner)

Upon the arrival at Lombok International Airport our Climbing Rinjani mountain team meets you at the arrival hall then drives down to the local restaurant to enjoy the first day lunch in Lombok. Afterwards we continued driving to Senaru village through Pusuk monkey forest. Along the way you may look at a wonderful view of Pusuk valley and rice paddy field. Before check in at the hotel our team will guide you to enjoy the highest waterfall on the island, Sendang Gile waterfall. We will provide you with dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : Senaru – Sembalun Crater. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

You have an early breakfast at the hotel. Then set out on a car drive to the Rinjani Trekking Information Centre at Sembalun village. The first track of your adventure time in climbing Rinjani mountain is walking a few hours on the spacious meadow and commodious savanna. After taking a long trek we take a rest for a few moments at post 1 and post 2. Our cooking team prepares you lunch at post 3. Furthermore we proceed trekking on a steepy rice field edge. We will stay overnight in a tent by Sembalun Crater on the height of 2.639 meters above sea level. From this crater you may enjoy an amazing sunset view, wonderful scenery of Segara Anak lake, the challenging peak of Mount Rinjani, and the northern part of Lombok Island. Dinner will be served by the crater.

D3. Sembalun Crater – Peak – Segara Anak lake – Pelawangan Torean (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Wake up early in the morning at 02.30 to have a light breakfast before starting climbing Rinjani Mountain till the top at the height of 3.726 meters above sea level. We will reach the peak exactly at the moment of sunrise, the best time to enjoy incredible scenery. Furthermore, we walk back to the tent by the rim to take a rest and have a hot and delicious breakfast. Afterwards, we continue an adventurous trek to Segara Anak lake (2.000 meters above sea level) to witness the beauty of the lake. We will have lunch as soon as we reach it. Then we walk down to the hot spring water to soak or to take a short rest to prepare a 4 hours trek to Pelawangan Torean through Milk cave, waterfall, and white river. We will stay overnight in a tent and have dinner at Pelawangan Torean.  

Day 4 : Pelawangan Torean – Torean Village – Hotel (Breakfast, Lunch)

After having breakfast enjoy hiking on a wonderful trail to Torean village. On the way we will pass by another waterfall. We will arrive at the village at about 12.00. Then drive down to the hotel choice at Senggigi Beach or Maaram city. Lunch will be provided at the local restaurant enroute.

Day 5 : Departure (Breakfast)

Breakfast at a hotel. Enjoy your last day leisure time while waiting for the guide taking you to the airport to onward the trip to the next destination. End of your climbing Rinjani Mountain program.
