Bromo midnight trekking itinerary :

Day 01 : Arrival Surabaya – Bromo hotel (Snack)

The guide welcomes you at the arrival hall of Juanda International airport, Surabaya. After luggage collection we immediately leave the airport to visit a Hero Monument, November Tenth Museum, and House of Sampoerna Museum. We allocate sufficient time to hang around and watch these three historical sites. Then drive down to Tanah Merah town, the gateway to cross Suramadu Bridge, the longest bridge in Java connecting Surabaya city and Madura island. After enjoying a pleasant time on the bridge, we return to Surabaya to visit the Submarine Monument. Before continuing driving to the hotel at the foothill of Mount Bromo, we go shopping at Genteng market and Mirota batik.

Day 2. Bromo – midnight trekking – Surabaya (B,L)

Due to the weather around Mount Bromo is very cold and the trail is a little bit steepy, please make sure to wear a jacket and good trekking shoes. We set out on a Bromo midnight trekking program at 03.00 in the morning by driving a Jeep. A stop will be arranged at Penanjakan or Bukit Kingkong (Kingkong hill) or Bukit Cinta (Love hill) to see an amazing sunrise. Furthermore, we start walking on the “SAND OCEAN” which is known as “Lautan Pasir” to reach Mount Bromo crater. After a spectacular hike we return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. On the way back to the hotel in Surabaya we will have a short excursion covering Tanggulangin handicraft centre. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant.

Day 3. Departure (B)

Breakfast at a hotel. Enjoy the rest of your holiday time at the hotel while waiting for airport transfer to onward your trip to the next destination.
