Flores travel itinerary :

Day 01 Arrival – Maumere (L,D)

The guide welcomes you at Frans Seda airport. Then we set out on Kelimutu Flores travel covering Watublapi, a remote village around 18 km south east Maumere. It is very popular with its prosperity and is rich in tropical plantations and fruits. In this hamlet beside welcoming the foreign guests with traditional dances and folklore, the villagers also host them traditional food and beverage. In addition, We have also occasion to understand more about Ikat Weaving. It is a tie dyeing weaving technique. Afterwards, We provide you with lunch en route. Enjoy your dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 02 Maumere – Moni (B,L,D)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we start a wonderful journey to explore some remote villages between Maumere and Moni. We will visit Maumere traditional market and Ledalero Museum. Furthermore, we continue driving to Wuring fisherman village. It is very popular for house construction on stilts. Then the guide prepares your lunch at a local restaurant. In this trip, you will see and feel the dramatic change in both nature pattern and ethnicity. Furthermore, We go on Kelimutu Flores travel to Wologai traditional village to mingle with the Lio ethnic people. Several typical Lio Houses are decorated with breast figures. They believe it as a symbol of fertility and prosperity. Lio people are also famous for Ikat weaving. Indeed, it is a good opportunity for the visitors as they will understand the local daily life and their tradition. We will have dinner at a hotel in Moni.

Day 03 Moni – Kelimutu – Maumere (B,L,D

Early in the morning we prepare for a trip up to the foothills of Mount Kelimutu. From this area we trek up to the peak of the mountain, from where we witness the beauty of Kelimutu three colors lake. Afterwards, we continue another 45 minutes drive to Jopu traditional village to witness the daily life of the local people which is different from others. Lunch will be served en route. We will return to Maumere in the afternoon. Dinner and stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 04 Maumere – Next Destination (B)

After having breakfast you may enjoy your free time at the hotel. The guide will transfer you to the airport to onward the trip to the next destination. End of your wonderful Kelimutu flores travel.
